In addition to authoring the course for UBC Extended Learning, Explora took charge of producing all media content, including the introduction and promotional video featured here.

Given the course’s focus on AI, we embraced the opportunity to create the materials entirely with artificial intelligence tools and techniques:

•The original script, written by Ricardo, was refined and polished using ChatGPT.

•While Ricardo recorded the primary audio narrative in-studio to ensure consistency in tone and style, we used ElevenLabs.io to generate all female and additional male voiceovers by transforming his original recordings.

•Ricardo’s photo was enhanced and adapted for widescreen (16:9) format by extending the background with Photoshop’s generative AI tools.

•To bring visuals to life, we animated Ricardo’s and stock images to lip-sync their respective audio sections using Runwayml.com.

•Additional AI tools integrated into Unreal Engine, After Effects, Premiere, and Native Instruments were employed to design the graphics, visuals, and soundscape.

Excluding the planning phase, the entire production was completed in under two days—though it could have been even faster if we hadn’t focused on fine-tuning certain details. Beyond being an incredibly fun and creative process, this AI-powered approach not only showcased the practical applications of artificial intelligence but also reinforced the core themes of the course.
